"Tips and Tricks for Large Assemblies"
Estimated length: 1 1/4 hours ~ plus or minus
Presenter: Darin Grosser, DASI Solutions
Some points to be discussed (but not limited to):
- Using "simplified" parts
- The different performance settings in the SW options
- When to use lightweight (and when to not)
- Hardware best for large assemblies (graphics, memory,
processor ~ which of these helps the most?) - 3GB switch for users with 4 gig of RAM
- Large assy's in drawings ~ detached drawings, etc....
- Benchmarking to see what hardware performs best
2nd Presentation starts approx: 4:15.
"Getting the Most out of Templates"
Estimated length: 1 hour ~ plus or minus
Presenter: Jon Benavides, FISHER/UNITECH
Some points to be discussed (but not limited to):
- Create & save a template
- Link a custom property with a drawing file
- Add favorite notes, etc to a template
- When to use configuration specific and custom properties
- How to change document properties, fonts, and other options
- How to work with sheet formats
- Other template related items
